The May edition of the Doctor Who mystery box turned up and appeared to be the more expensive version with signed items and a hoody instead of a t shirt. I’m not complaining.
Blakes 7 In Character

The latest edition of the Blakes 7 podcast I Co host.
Watch “Modiphius: Star Trek Figures – Painting the First Officers” on YouTube
Star Trek First Officers
Continuing the series of Star Trek figures from Modiphius I have painted Mr Spock from The Original Series and Commander William Riker from The Next Generation. These are a great set of figures.
The Brigadier
A nice simple paint job of mainly browns on this Crooked Dice Army figure who looks suspiciously like the Brigadier from Doctor Who. A dead ringer for the UNIT leader.
Star Trek Discovery Phaser
Been painting up a 3D print kit I got on Ebay for a fiver. An ST:D phaser. It was a really nice print and took minimal clean up.
Rick and Morty butter robot finished
I managed to finish and paint Ann’s Rick and Morty butter robot 3D print. It was a fun little build that mainly required lots of filling and sanding. Love these little quick builds.
Blakes 7 In Character with Bayban-the-butcher
Www.neozaz.com/bayban-the-butcher/
The third episode of Blakes 7 In Character is out and Eric and I discuss the wonder that is Colin Baker’s Bayban-the-butcher.
This was a really enjoyable one to record as it is one of my favourite episodes and highlights just how good the show could be
Rick and Morty butter robot
My wife, Ann, 3d printed this little thing off so I am making it up for her. Lots of filling but fun to do
Blakes 7 podcast
I have the pleasure to co host a fortnightly podcast looking at the minor (and not so minor) characters of the TV series Blakes 7 (without the possessive apostrophe for some reason) which is hosted on www.neozaz.com
The idea was thought up by my old mate Eric Moore, who has been doing a podcast for a while looking at special effects sequences and research for the podcasts requires the rewatching of the old episodes and the thing that comes through time and again is just how the pace of television has speeded up. Shows generally don’t take the time to set the characters up. TV character’s personalities tend to now just come from their reaction to events rather than organically growing.
The writing and characters shine in Blakes 7 and even in only the 2nd episode, which was the research for today’s recording, you can see the actors have put thought into each line delivery and the characters start to form in front of your eyes. It’s a journey they and the viewer take together.
I miss those types of shows but it’s wonderful to chat to a like minded chum about them and hopefully provide a bit of entertainment to our listener.
